Our mission is to reflect Christ's character and live a life of holiness.
"The object of our mission is the same as the object of Christ's mission. Why did God send his Son to the fallen world?--To make known to mankind his love for them. Christ came as a Redeemer. Throughout his ministry he kept prominent his mission to save sinners." RH, June 16, 1904. As we live in this world, we live for a short period of time. We have only one life to live, one decision to make, and one goal to reach. According to Revelation 7:1-4, soon the mark of deliverance is to be put upon God's people. The question is are we ready? Will you be able to meet for what is coming? One of the greatest missions of this hope 1844 ministry is to call God's people for the great urgency and need in the personal, one to one, endeavor to save souls. To actively participate in praying with others and studying the Bible regarding Christ's second coming. To help people get ready and see themselves that “Time is Almost Finished”. As we cooperate in this finishing work, and live by example in a very clear and distinctive way, God will assist us with the greatest power ever known to man, and He will finish the work. It is our earnest prayer to take the last message of mercy to the most needy people of the world. To meet them where they are. The gospel needs to be preached to the poor, the sick, the highest as well as the lowest classes. God is calling His people to separate themselves fully from Babylon. Hear what the Bible is saying in Rev. 18:1-4; "And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils,......For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication,....And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues." But, how can we do it? And, what is our greatest need? “Not a pause for a moment in His presence, but personal contact with Christ, to sit down in companionship with Him--this is our need. We may bring Him our little cares and perplexities as well as our greater troubles. Whatever arises to disturb or distress us, we should take it to the Lord in prayer.” {FLB 225} Dear reader, God is delaying His coming because He loves you and I! 2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." He wants us to gain heaven! What a Saviour and what a God we serve! Amen. |
